I've asked this question before, so far no one knew the answer. In Modeler and Layout, selected objects, polygons, patches or points are highlighted in a pale yellow color. Unfortunately, this is very hard to see against the gray backdrop of Modeler's wireframe view mode or the background of Layout. Is there a way to change it to a color that is easier to see like orange or red?

Almost 40 people have looked at this thread and no one knows if it can even be done. Maybe it can't. Man I hate that word.

it cannot be done.


however, you can change the background, and other colors of your UI to contrast more with the selection. a sample from the lwhub.cfg file:


BackgroundColor 120 120 120
DragButtonColor 156 153 139
ActionButtonColor 158 142 137
StateButtonColor 156 153 139
DialogButtonColor 158 142 137
InfoAreaColor 100 100 100
InfoAreaTextColor 255 255 0

Hard to believe that it can't be changed. Anybody know why?

Ehm, because no NT programmer ever bothered putting an option for that? :)
