Nice concept, man...modeling is nice to, but 2000 polygons for such character is too much.

I think it's pretty cool! Of course, I am partial to anything pirate related :) I'm curious what engine it was designed for (if any) and is it going to be a main character or minor character? Shaving a few polys wouldn't hurt the design I don't think. Nice work!

I'm not really a fan of pirates but I really liked the concept. :)
I didnt set any real poly limit to myself or plan getting this ingame.
I could shave off a few polys. Do you think I should model or just texture the strap for the eyepatch?

hehe, cute concept, i like it alot.
for the model you have wasted some polys, special on the eye and nose area. in the inside parts you can delete most of them, cause nobody will see if it is hollowed out so clean.
most of the chamfered edges make not much sense to me, normally you make it look round with the texture lighten up there.
i just would make his hands thicker, so they fit better to this cute character.
im anxious to see what you make with the textur.

I agree with MFTituS....you should make the hands thicker and shaving off some polygons with the eye holes:sad: dont mean to offend if i did...

Looks nice, cool concept, but you can easily half your poly count.
