I don't know if your question was directed at me but I believe that "I like those odds" means basically that you're sure something is likely to happen, that is, there is a high probability for it to happen. Or you can interpret it the other way around, as I did.

Don't know if Im to late. It was still good practice..

I just started doodeling and the image just appeared by itself.
I didn't set out to make a political image, but it seems that my
subconsious took over and made flames and the f16 looking jet.

So the odds are heavy ordinance weapons vs a bridge :)

Took me about 40 minutes I think in Photoshop with a wacom..
I did this to get to grips with the wacom that I just got a few days
ago. Before that I used a Trust pad which was awful..

Hey people, I'm back from short hiatus, here is my entry. Think i'm starting to develop a style, sort of.

Flash, 30 mins

iamintricate - very nice painting, and feel. Gets the whole fantasy, LOTRish feel.

twisted-ankle - amazing for a first shot! nice slightly cartoony style, the hand looks very pristine.

vitriolic - Very nice painting and composition, like how you keep the colours consistent.

malcomvexxed - Whoa! great character and style. Looks a little too blurry though.

Sorry this is my first Daily sketch entry, I saw the topic and just thought of your typical platformer style timing where you gotta time it perfectly and then just go! (which I'm usually really bad at!) Cheers

30mins Photoshop with a wacom

an australian can be called a "roo". so an oddworldian can be called an "odd". so if you have more than one, its "odds", no? man, i sure love this odds. (Except the xbox one. RELEASE ON PC DAMN YOU!) about a hour and a half, pencils and photoshop. both pose and color refrenced from an actual picture, but i didnt copy anything off it.

lol yeah i know it's pretty blurry. I mostly use pastels in traditional and i sketch with airbrush in photoshop. In my finished work I always tighten up linework but I find doing that in the foundation gets you into the habit of lifeless stuff.

nice pic btw
