View Full Version : Question on pricing...
Kraxsis 10-09-2004, 06:50 AM Was wondering what the pricing is for those that own Lightwave. If I remember correctly I thought I read somewhere from Brad Peebler about there being a "Freinds and Family" Discount above the limited time sale price of $695.00. So I was wondering what it is....there is no reference to it on their website.

If you provide a lightwave serial you save $100, you could try emailing sales for more info.

The modo4lw discount code still works - use that and enter your LightWave serial # in the "additional comments" box when ordering...

For what versions of LW does this discount apply?

ALL :D If you have a valid LightWave serial # (even from say, Amiga v3.5) then you qualify for the "friends & family" discount - not sure about the Amiga 'Toaster versions or offshoots such as Inspire but you never know - I'm sure the nice folks at Luxology will be happy to help if you've got an ancient or unusual copy of LW...

Hi Aegis Prime,
thanks for the info, but actually (correct me if I'm wrong), LW 3.5 upto 5.5 didn't used serial numbers, they only had those dongle numbers. The serial key thing started with LW 5.6, where I needed a dongle number and a serial key to register. Also that 5.0 to 5.5 upgrade was free, the 5.6 wasn't. Still somehw confused.

One question .. just to be sure..
No dongle, and MAc and PC version on the same box right? so is it possible to have it working on my PC and on my MAc laptop right??
Also I had a Toaster with Inspire and a VT1 with with LWVT, any of those might get to qualify for the discount?
Thanks in advance.
