I have to laugh when I take a look at my UPS tracking report for my modo package.
It's headed from Texas to Louisiana (that's east for any of you who may work for UPS)

I was looking at it wondering what was wrong with it until I saw your last comment. :D

This thread reminds me of a package I was waiting for on Friday. Waiting, waiting, waiting, nothing. Finally, I get tired of waiting and decide to check the tracking info. According to the tracking info the package was delivered over 2 hours ago! Go outside, look around. Nothing. Where's my @$%! package? Walk into the garage and notice a box about halfway hidden by some junk in the garage. Now why didn't I think to look there in the first place? You would think that with the whole next day air thing that they might have been able to figure out that I wanted this Package ASAP!

I've never had this problem with FedEx and they alway personally deliver and ask for a signature on packages (and I think they're cheaper).

I bought a new G5 recently. Nobody was home when FedEx dropped by, so they guy decided to just leave the big box with "G5" and pictures of the computer all over it on the front porch in plain view for anyone walking or driving by.

I guess it just depends on the delivery person in your area more than which company it is. The tracking info on my computer said very clearly "signature required".
