I want to export LightWave scenes to Soft 3D and XSI. Is this possible? I just know a plugin which let's you export lwo to hcr and that are only the objects, but this is not suffisent for me.
Any help appreciated.

I could be mistaken. but didnt Avid just release a translation plug in for Lightwave/XSI?

I think I read it on this site actually....I dont know, I usually dont have the need to go from LW to XSI and vise versa..so I am sure someone else is more qualified to answer this question...

somewhere i've read that exporting to .obj is the recommended format..anyway, i don't know what happens with animation data..
i'll try to find this thread and post u more information..
