When and exactly how will we be able to take full advantage
of 64-bit technology found on e.g. the Macintosh G5?
Which PC uses this technology so far?

The topic started out differently, but much of what I said there I would have repeated here :) This goes for Mac's 64bit chips as well as PCs btw..

EDIT: As for when, I can't say for Mac, but the PC side of things could be sometime early next year when you start seeing 64Bit Windows (Linux has been x86-64 capable since the first Opteron hit the streets)
