You need to update C-Dilla. You can grab it from Discreet's web site.

Ya, I had the C-Dilla problem too. Downloading the latest version fixed it. I'm on XP Pro though. I heard that XP Home isn't as reliable.

Yeah, I have problems running Max 4.2.5 under XP Pro. I don't have issues with C-Dilla, but Max will lock up my computer and occasionally crash. Sometimes, I can get Max to run for a while, but eventually it always freezes up after modelling for around a half hour to an hour.

My hardware configuration is an AMD Athlon XP 1800+ on a VIA motherboard (dragon) with a GEForce 2 Pro and 1.5 gigs of RAM and 60 gigs of harddrive space. Any suggestions?

I had thought that it was a problem with XP compatibility issues; but I'm starting to wonder if it's my video card. I'm thinking about upgrading to the GEForce 4 now that it's out, but I've also eyed the Quadro DCC with the Maxstreme drivers. Do you think it's worth the upgrade or is it more of an XP problem? I was running Max under 2000 professional, and experienced similar crashes, but they were not consistent like they are now. Would changing video cards resolve the crashing all together?

Does anyone else have experience running Max on a Quaddro DCC? Can the DCC support all of the games or does it have issues in that area?

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
