kjpayne 10-08-2004, 05:23 AM When i change a premitive to subdivision i am suppose to see the original polycage. i do not see or have editing access to the original cage. how do i correct this??

Try this, on the 3d viewport > Visibility Options (or properties) > Show Cages

Very true!!
and remember u don't really need to see your cage in Modo unless u're used to work like this.
u can directly drag points, edges and polys with move element while in sub-d mode !! u also can go back and forth hitting tab to see you cage on the fly and work on it. very useful workflow derived from Lw. Now try to do this in Maya ( Muhahahahaha :D )

I personally don't like to see those cages while in organic modeling.
