this image below is a crappy picture of what my bathroom looks like
i took off the internet from my complexes website.

i would like to show you a better image but i do not have a digital camera.

here is what i have so far.
it isn't much.
i found out the hard way that sharp edges are an absolute no no.
i know the faucet needs work.
i'm just having troubles trying to close the hole on the faucet.
i thought that if i were to:
- add an isoparm close the the edge
- use the hull
- select the last selection closest o the facet open
- the uniform scale it down all the way to the center

but it doesn't look right when i render it
can anybody help me on how to close it?
thanks

Looking pretty good for your experience. i have a question does it have to be in nurbs or can you model it in polys. in my opinion with working nurbs surfaces for a awhile now i have come to relize that modeling in polys can be fast and getting better results and about your question
did you set ur Tessilation before you rendered? if you dunno what i am talking about Select your surface and hit CTRL A for attribute editior and click tessilation little Arrow thingy that might help if not write back and ill check it out further. also stay away from trims on nurbs they can cause some problems in the long run. if u have ti trim something you can attatch surfaces and Sticth them together (which can be hard when first useing nurbs. otherwise keep up the good work and if anyone else has a comment i might of said that could be better please do so.

my guess is that simple blocky shapes i can model with polys but
i've going through hell trying to do the sink counter top in poly.
- some of the edges get all ****ed when i try to do a bevel
- i converted my nurbs sink to a poly, selected the sink and counter and tried to do a boolean and got shitty results.
both of the selected kept disappearing.
so i'm going back to nurbs on the counter top because i've been trying to few days on how to get the look that i want as far as the counter top goes.
the facet end cap is still kicking my ass...any suggestion?
i will try to post what i have so far later
you wouldn't happen to go or have gone to fullsail?

i ask again can anybody help me wit the closure for the faucet.
i was thinking about doing a planar end cap but it makes it look too linear.
i tried using the hull and grabbing the row of hull cv's and doing a uniform scale to center but
it doesn't look right when i render it.
i know it still needs work but again i'm still new to maya.
thanks for any comments
