Beautiful lighting and he almost writes off the animation and lighting bah, a lot of talent.

On the director's side, it'd be nice to start In Medias Res, for such short clips, more interest and more actual events (things - the staple of animation ;)) could be included, it seems like he takes a long to time to get from point A to B, while actually stopping to show his emotion. If it started arround the 30th second (and slowed that down to a wide pan of the cavern) you'd be sucked in.

In terms of CG it was pretty much flawless!
