I love hot wheels:D :D :D :D :D
yes sir , cool hot wheel car , it will be better with dirty texture like scratch and som rust ,only my opinion , do you plan to animate him ?
oh the hook texture look strech ...

The only thing that doesnt sit right with me (and it could be because of the angle I am viewing it at) is the hubcaps. can we get a closeup of the wheels?
The rest of the model (texuring issues aside) is quite nice.

To be more clear, I´m rendering his animation...
And when I finish this Render I´ll post the Wheels Close...
Wait a moment please, and thank you very much...:D :D :D

I like it. Here are some ideas for improving it....
- The specularity needs some work. The highlights are generally too broad, arguably overly strong in places and don't match the respective base material well. Try refining the highlight size, use anistropy and add a specular map for the hook texture (less specular where rust exists, more specular otherwise). (Take note of Gabe's comment regarding the hook too). Also, to control specularity more, try using lights that only effect specularity (switch off their diffusion influence) and if you're seeking blown out highlights, use specular bloom or a glow filter to bring it out, it'll look more realistic.
- The scene seems entirely devoid of bump mapping, (nice rope holding the hook though). Bump mapping should enhance this scene greatly. Even if you wish to maintain the race car in its idealized state, consider adding subtle scratches.
- Nice idea with the skid marks. Their implementation is too perfect, especially by themselves, toss in some subtler, more abstract skid marks elsewhere.
- Modeling is quite good. Some area's could use minor improvement. Exhaust pipes extruding from the main base and the hubcap circumference for example. They're catching highlights to an extent that they perhaps shouldn't be. A tip for potentially dealing with this involves insetting another surface(poly, etc.) close to the start of an extrusion or where one object melds into another (eg. hubcaps). This will alter how the object is smoothed and subsequently its highlight. Don't forget though if you're using subdivsion surfaces/meshsmooth, this will also make the geometry blending sharper and/or the rounded connection smaller, may a require a balancing act. This technique should be more effective in Max in polyedit mode, as that mode sustains quads.
- It appears your using one spotlight. While the shadows are effective, the lighting is still noticeably flat. Use some low intensity lights with slight variation to break it up more in Max. They don't even necessarily need to be shadow casting and some can influence only specular, others diffusion as you see fit.
- This scene would work well with dof or if in motion, motion blur.
- A final note on the color composition. Green, blue and yellow in such close proximity is an interesting choice. Sometimes when melded together it can be quite effective, nor is it detrimental here as the car remains the primary focus. However after that one's viewpoint drifts to the side of the car. While it helps encapsulate the viewer's attention on that area, the sides are rather uninteresting. Not that you necessarily need to change it, just something to consider...

Ah...much better...from far away it looked like a Mesh-mush. Now i see that it is actually a pretty clean and smooth model.
Again..texture issues asisde...nice modeling ;)
