Yes I agree the left side of the face is a bit overlit. Otherwise an excelent image. The guy has a very gritty face rough and mean looking , very much in context with the character.
Well done.

I'm not so sure the face is too white, it could just be that the background and the face kind of blends together making it hard to see where face ends and sky starts.. so to speak..
yeah he looks like his sweating.. Like he has screwed up and is about to get the bullet. Very tidy

NICE, but he looks like maniquin. He artificially holds his head, incline it a little forwards for example, or, if you want him to look proud - contrary, lift his chin. And the eyes look too artificially. Weaken him a bit.
And the entire image is oversaturated...

Very good, but I think the ear needs more detail and should be blended into the head more carefully. Otherwise I agree with what the others said about the over-exposure, sweaty looking skin and bump mapping on the uniform.
An Impressive and imposing picture though. :)
I think that a colorfull character like this needs a colorfull facial expression.

Congratulations !!! Very good image...
But I see some little problems... (not serious)... The image has a lot of fill lights that made it turn too bright... At first look the left portion of his neck got too bright giivn us the impression that his neck is much more thin that it really is... try to close a little bit his eye... or keep the eye like that and brings a more ungry eyebrown.... other point the cloth... change the texture the bump noise is very large.
The image is very good congratulations !:buttrock:

Yeah, really realistic :wip:
Do the bad glance on camera;P do do do:wip:
Damn
i'm assuming the eyepatch is felt?
if it is i believe you need a bit more specularity. I can see some, but there's not enough to sufficiently break up the black of the eyepatch (maybe that was your intent). Felt will usually have a pretty high spec on a surface directly hit by light, but once it curves away the falloff is very rapid.
oxhidoc are you gonna post a new pic or say what you think of the crits......I would like to hear from you what you think:shrug:

hmmm ... It doesn't look over-exposured ... it looks like world with two Suns. I can't see shadows. I think it is very good work except the ears, but lights are terrible ... change it and you will be surprised!

I like your work :buttrock: but try to change intensity illumination from the left...
well I like the light.... ;)
it's over exposed, yes, but I don't see the problem with that...
it gives a nice style...
the only thing that bother me is the lower part of the ear, and his only eye maybe too much opened...
except if his looking at someone straight in the eyes, I would have lower/bend a little bit his head...
the camera lower than him make him more powerfull !!!! bad bad nazi !!! put him very small and dead !!!!! :bounce:
prasa ?!? there is shadow... but subtle ones like in real life or global illum...
I didn't see the titel sorry ;)
