This is my first attempt at painting something in photoshop. Itīs for a school project and would gladly hear some comments and critique for me to improve!
The message of this image is that someone close has mentally "raped" this person. The roses symbolize that itīs someone close.

This is very well rendered, especially since it's your first work in Photoshop. The wall's texture, the wood grain and the skull's shading are all very convincingly done.
As for the piece as a whole, I'm not sure what you mean by "mentally raped". Do you mean an interrogation, or the psychological damage done to a rape victim? Between the granite and the bones, I think of a tombstone and of something that happened in the past and this secret was "buried". You might consider the skull set in front of a tombstone. "I have been raped" would make for a chilling inscription on the stone.
If the rape is recent, I think the picture looks too clean. For the raping of someone's mind, I'd imagine the skull broken open and invaded. The flowers in this instance would be a nice start, but I think they should be ravaged, too.
Hope that helps. :)

thanks for comment soup! What I mean is not that the victom has been raped for real, rather someone close that have betrayed, or done alot of harm to this person. Like a mental rape if you understand what I mean.

Looks nice, the roses seem too blurry need some sharp definition in the lights, they look like they are in shadow but they should be catching much more light, and the stand is flat looking, it doesnt seem like its flat on the table. It wouldnt cast a seperate shadow from the skull, it would be in the shadow and shouldnt be as higlighted as it is now especially the light on the back side of the bottom of the stand should be darker to push it back more, ohter than that I like it, the textures are nice
