CGTalk - VHS-Laptop hookup

hey guys,
just wanted to know if it was possible to hook a vhs deck to my laptop. i have a tv out plug (i guess its the tv logo with the arrow out). My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite 5200.

matty429: I think he wants from the laptop to the VHS deck.

If this is the case just plug it in :) If it's an S-Video then you'll probably need a s-Video -> Composit adaptor, which can be found in most video/electronics stores, or often will come with the computer.

stephen, thats exactly it. I basically wanted to make a new copy of my reel. I think I have the cables. I guess ill have to try and see...thanks
