CGTalk - Export options...

Can anyone tell me more about exporting your model from Modo?
I work with EIAS (Electric Image), Form Z and Cinema4d.
Seems that Electric Image Transporter does not convert .obj files correctly: model gets facetted in a weird way.
Form Z imports .obj with the same result as EIAS: wierd facetted.
Tried Cinema4d, but again same results.

What is up?? Can't I export the tutorial fish (real-time subdivision surface)??

Changing the smoothing angle in Transporter instead of using the defaults helped here.

Cinema 4D will open the .lwo directly. No need to export.

Can you elaborate more on Exporter, cause I tried different settings bit my fish keeps facetted as if you see the cage view in Modo...

Freeze the model before export to .obj
