l've only been using Pstorm so l don't know if one of the other generators may give me the result l need but here is my problem so far. My setup is based on Peranders example of the light bulb hitting the wall & breaking. Using this TP setup means that you replace your original model with 1 particle from Pstorm & then of course send it to Pfragment my case to break it up, now thats all fine but my problem is that position of the particle when it's born because even though the emitter is align with the centre of the original model the random seed setting makes the particle have an offset in position from the centre of the emitter. Now you can get closer to the centre by going through the numbers ie. 1,2,3,4 etc. but it seems to be a bit of a hit & miss thing.
So is there an exact way to get the particle to be released exactly from the centre of the emitter using other generators as l've only ever used PStorm or can you use some align to spline setup which is something else l haven't had any experience with?

My thanks Chad P.

When using PStorm just set the X and Y size to 0. This will ensure that the particle will be created at the position of the emitter (except if you later reposition it with PSetData).

Thanks Srek, l didn't really think that would of made a difference so l never changed the default settings in regards to the X & Y size because l'd just match the Size parameter with the Bounding box parameter of the shape node and that was it. l Did try just the standard PBorn node before you replied to my thread & that seemed to fix it which makes sense after what you recommended because there's no size parameters in the PBorn node.

Thanks for the help.
