Installation
------------

1) Run the setup.exe in the Realwave2_inst folder and complete the installation according to the instructions.

2) Copy the cinema4dv7 folder into your CINEMA 4D plugins folder.

3) Copy the nlflowtracer_c4d_intel folder into your CINEMA 4D plugins folder.

4) Copy the rfsdc4d_intel folder to your CINEMA 4D plugins folder.

Quickguide
----------

Add a sphere within CINEMA 4D

From the file menu, export it as a wavefront object and save it somewhere on your harddrive.

Load RealWave *DO NOT CLOSE CINEMA 4D!*

From the surface tab on the right hand side, click the floppy disk icon at the top. A new window should appear, enable the top checkbox so that BIN files are saved, then close the dialog.

NB. Just like CINEMA 4D, you must select the save path before rendering the waves.

select the waves tab on the right and click the first icon of a wave, this adds a new wave to the scene.

From the deformation section of the waves tab, enable the Fractal displacement option, this will give some nice random rolling waves

Click the Object tab and click the yellow folder to open a file. Select the file wqe exported earlier from CINEMA 4D.

When the file loads, youll notice it is huge, this is because of the different working scales which the programs use. To fix this, set the three scale boxes all the 0.01

Click the Floppy disk icon to choose where the movement data will be saved. In the new window, click the 'Save motion file (DYN)' button and select the same folder you chose for the BIN files a moment ago and select a name for the Dynamic file. Close this window when you're done.

On the bottom right of the window, click the ACTION button. This will then begin rendering the ocean and sphere movement to the locations you selected earlier. When it has generated lots of frames (maybe a few 100) click the ACTION button again to stop the rendering.

Now return to CINEMA 4D (keep the same project with the sphere) and under the Plugins>cinema4dv7 menu, add all three objects (Surface loader, MEsh loader and Object loader)

Double click on the Surface loader icon and click the 'Choose mesh sequence' button. Now pick the .geo file you saved. Click OK when you're done.

Double click on the Mesh loader icon and click the 'Choose mesh sequence' button. Select the first .bin file that was created and click OK.

Double click on the Object loader icon and click the 'Choose .dyn file' button. Now select the .dyn file and click ok.

Everything you now need is loaded into CINEMA 4D. Drag and drop the Object loader into the Sphere, this will apply the movement to the object. The problem we have at the moment is that Realwave uses a different scale to CINEMA 4D, everythis very tiny. Select the Surface Loader and from the coordinates manager, set the scale to 100 for X, Y and Z. Now do the same for the Sphere object.

Now press play and you should have the waves, complete with a sphere bobbing up and down in the water.

I wish to hell Maxon would change Cinema's default scale to one more in line with every other 3D application!! It's really a pain in the neck moving back and forth between C4D and other apps. I know there are import/export options to deal with this, but that doesn't always solve the problem. I would love to see this change in v.8. It seems to me that it could be done in such a way as to preserve compatibility with older scenes by including an automatic scaling routine for older files.

have you tried the default water setting??
I did this real flow animation with the default setting but as you can see
my particle speed is too slow in this early test
causing the Slow motion appearence
