Hy there:wip:

This car was made with max 4.2 and rendered with Brazil (brazil rocks :buttrock: ). It took about 3 weeks of work ( only on evenings ) to make, but still, i'm very proud of it :D

C&C are welcome !!

You have to love how people name their own files.

As to the car itself, it looks pretty good. The seats are not very convincing. They llok like they are made out of crushed velvet, like an old couch from the 1950-60 era. And the wheels on those cars were never chrome, although you did a good chrome texture, I would change them to a silver paint color.

Thanks again for replies:beer:

Think i'll render the grey version tomorow.. and change the color of rims to grey... allthough in rebuilt models the rims are chrome...anyways ... gona make an animation....

Cheers

Yeah I thought about that after I posted. Many people who would restore the car to showroom quality (like yours is) would most likely have changed the rims to chrome. Can't wait to see the next image.

hey nice model, use a gradient to make the car reflect something so we can see the details better(or grey version offcourse) and up the viewrate in Brazil lumaserver to 25 or 30(cleaner GI)

cheers!

looks very very nice

try to render it with maybe a self - iluumin [white]
plane above it for reflections
and a darker floor
but keep the bg black

like so http://www.fatgraham.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/3d/a2/1.jpg

anywyas i do love it

hey, I think you've got a really nice start here. I tried modeling a Porsche550 a while back, and never finished it. But as a result, I now know the car inside and out :p The first thing I noticed is that the chrome headlight rim is incorrect.

http://207.164.141.121:82/images/550web.jpg

that is one of my renderings of the body. you can see the headlights more easily there. Also the wheel arches need it be higher and more pronounced. if you haven't already, go grab some blueprints of the car from www.suurland.com

Other than that, its looking miiighty fine :)

I agree with reeves1984.
How can the enviroment be so bright but not cast and brightness on the top of the car?

brazil skylight does not work with a dome :D

the grey one isn't that nice, I agree with the planes for reflections comment.. or simply put a hdri for reflection in the enviroment.

cheers!
