So after lots more reading, and going through some tutorials (actually found a helpful one) I think I came across a big piece of missing understanding. Edge Loops. I know what they are, but having trouble creating them without the guide of a tutorial. Any good edge loop techniques or tips you use?

Its very imporant 2 block the parts of ur mesh (head) in the begging of a modelling.
By blocking parts (they will containe edgeloops): eyes & mouth, they have muscules in a loopin way.Afther that u will simulate another musculs in the face with edge loops, later when u make morph targets ull get clean deformation.

well, i didn't think it mattered much. But for the exact scenario, I was working on a head. I got through beveling the edges to create polygons to delete for the eyes. What I didn't understand was making a round hole where the mouth would go. I tried the edge bevel trick there. Sure it cut a hole, but there wasn't an edge loop around it like there is around there eyes. Here's some shots of what I was working on...

I see :)

It is very important 2 make good proportion of a head in very early stage of modeling, also ill send u tomorow some backdrops that u can folow and very good tutorial about head modelling where u can find answers about blocking the mounth. I think this way is easier :)
