View Full Version : Show vertex in viewport using UVWUnwrap...

Anyone know why the "Show selected vertex in viewport" in the UVWUnwrap options doesn't actually work?
It is what I think it is, right? That when editing my UVs in the unwrap dialog, I can select a vertex there and see the corresponding vertex in the actual viewport, right?
It'd be a really cool feature to have, I don't understand why it doesn't work. Anyone else run into this?
I'm using Max 4.2 by the way. Heidi driver aswell, as DirectX and OpenGL both suck with my video card.

Any help much appreciated!

I think you have to be in the Select Face of the UVW unwrap modifier (click on + in the stack). I don't really know what it actually means. It worked for me.

Cool, thanks dvornik! Works a charm. Seems strange that you should have to be in sub-object mode for that to work, but there you go, another of life's little mysteries solved.

Much appreciated, thanks for responding!
