I know it's in a quit urly stage, but I still thought I needed some comments on what you think of this guy. ..hope the pics isn't too big....

...I know I have a lot of work too do with the shadows and the whole pic is really messy...

I think the concept is good, but I have trouble with the weight distribution. A guy with that huge of a torso, should have some more meat on his legs, unless his primary mode of transport is flying. I also think that since you have the knees pointing outward, then you would see more of the back of the creatures feet. Try standing in front of a mirror in the same position and see. This works great for getting basic proportions and direction down pat. Keep going with this.
