-Dont know if this has been suggested, but has anyone thought of setting up a section on this site for specific application scene studies?

-the files that ppl reference to could be put on their ftp sites. The post that is put up on cgtalk could be a simple link to the file with a description of what its doing.
-I'd love to open up a maya file and see how some of the others are setting up their characters?

-They wouldn't even have to supply full character scenes but just maybe simple examples of how they would tackle for example shoulder or muscle deformation. Everyone knows that you can get lots done with bones n joints but it would be interesting to see how ppl use some of the other tools in maya and maybe some of the plugins & scripts that are available from highend3d.com.

-just anxious to hear what ppl's thoughts are on this idea? leave a reply and maybe we can see if it goes anywhere?

i'll be doing something like this.
pick a image from any ad photographers index try create it with maya(2d / post also),put the scene up for disection and see how others could improve on it.
