Hello folks...
I was wondering if anyone had any tips or links to tutorials on painting matte paintings as seen in animated features... where paintings aren't necessarily SUPER realistic (as if to be used in a live action film plate), but have that very painterly quality associated with matte paintings used in animated films. I'm looking specifically at styles similar to Miyazaki films (princess mononoke, spirited away) with ornate and delicate imagery, but also lots of greenery. Thanks for the tips!!!
Regards,
Chris
