Hello, I like the over all picture especily the lighting and the wall in the background but one thing the amblem in the middle of the book seems out of place perhaps you should use something like a star with a circle around the star but other then that im looking forward to seeing more opbjects on the table... its a very good start
{Objects i recommend on the table}
1.Some blue or red potions
2.Some candels in random positions
3.Feather and Ink
4.A shiny little dager
5.Im sure you have something else that you would put so good luck :)

Really like you're lighting. Blue and yellow, it's classic but you did a really efficient use of it.

very cool! i love the warm/cool lighting scheme.
the props are terrific too. the book's binding looked just like leather.
the one thing that gets me is that the wood looks very waxy on the cool side and very matte on the warm side. also, the shadows of the grain could be much lighter on the warm, more lit side. this is a small touch of realism. something i picked up from syd mead's work.

Nice book :)
But the background is great,too (the stones with the DOF in the first version looks great!) and some great details on the dagger.
Go on!

when i first saw it i thought, wow, that looks very shrek-ish. (and yes, that's a compliment) you're doing a great job with all of it so far. love that potion bottle and the lighting is nice too. also the texture of the wood is really good. bump-mapped, i assume? great work!

Holy crap i love that, I think you should make the blade on the dagger a bit shinier, and also i dont like that one of the ninja stars is in the table, i think they should be laying on top of each other.

painfully obvious is the fact that the flame itself isnt bright at all. dull flame is hard to make =]
but the texturing is really well done. how did you do the wall?
