I do agree that the fabric under the vase look quite hard - just softening the shading should fix that. The pears also look slightly hard, but then again, perhaps they're not ripe yet!
That late afternoon hazy lighting is great and the overall colour palette is really nice.

Just one other thing - that little pink bracelet looks like it's floating in mid-air.

Can you share some of you Vray knowledge. Materials and lighting. What type of lighting setup did you use. Ive done a few bits with vray, and im curious to see how others tackle working with it. Also a wire would be great.

varma: the background is different walls in different layers produced in photoshop and some painting in the end to match my idea.

Tim Woods: in this scene i have only one big vray light pointing at the objects two white planes for highlight reflections and in the 3ds max and vray enviroment i have a hdri map.
