Ok, finally I choose the dialogue 2, I like dialogue 1 too, but I already have seen some WIPs (Tony's WIP it's great) and probably my animation performance should be very influenced by them, so I choose dialogue 2 (that I only have seen a very early aproach from Remi). It's very dificult because I think it has a very subtle acting envolved.

I choose Lowman character for this animation,

a very good rig created by Miguel González Viñé http://lichiman.aniguild.com/

Ok, and now my first aproach http://personal.telefonica.terra.es/web/daviddigital/cosas/firstpass.mov

P.D: Excuse my poor English

A little update is done!

Stills is in a very early stage but I have been reworking some pose and adding some details.

Looking good! My first though would be to start the piece with his right hand just finishing resting on the book, instead of already being there, it seems like you have some time for it.

I like the subtlety of "Klatu" alot, and it may be just the blocking but it feels as though he should turn quicker for the next line, "Klatu"

I especially like the ending gesture, it's going to be great when done, you can already tell.

later!

Hi David,

good to see you join the session! I especially like the final pose of your animation.

Some crits:

1. Between 'Clattoo' and 'Verratta' the body looks rather stiff .

2. The pose (the finger pointing in the air) when saying 'Ok then ...' doesn't really fit IMHO.

Looking forward to your progress !

Good stuff - like it for the same reason as 'Anim_Changes'. Looks like you are heading for some nice poses to get the character acting out the words.

Hey David,

I like what you have so far...I personally think you could bring the hand to the book as well instead of having it on there already. I think the point could work at ok then...but it would need to be really quick I think....I'm assuming you're going to be adding overlap and followthrough and antics later on....so I won't comment on that....you've got some good poses though and it's working for me....keep it up man:)
