I'm a newbie in this whole motion graphics / compositing world. I know I have a lot of work ahead of me before I can even think of getting a job in the field. right now I am learning Digital fusion. I'm in the postion to purchase a camera. Right now I have some money so I am looking to by a good camera that will last me 3 or 4 years. I was thinking about an XL2. I want to know if any of you have any suggestions / experience on a camera. Or even if the quality of the camera really matters when it comes to learning how to compositing. I plan on using it to do sfx shorts and capture material for my compositions. Basically as a tool to learn. thanks.
