Hey, guys:

I'm trying to clean a model and I was looking for the slide edge/vertex and spin edge commands in XSI. Are these supported in XSI 4.0? If so, what are they known as? If not, are there any available script(s) that can do this?

Thanks.

For edge/vertex slide, I was thinking to :

1. copy the object
2. set the copy to be unselectable
3. enable snap to surface/polygon face
4. move vertices/edges
5. delete copy object when done

Any other ideas?

You can slide a vertex by seleting it, then do MCP > Transform > Reference Planes > Pick Edge Reference. Pick the edge of your choice, and move the vertex on the X axis.

I prefer to go through the Transform menu instead of the Plane button because this a function I use a lot when modeling and I can middle-click on the Transform button to pick a new edge.
