Here's my latest animation:
Soundbite and acting reference is Simon Pegg in Spaced.
Any feedback would be great.

Hey, that's excellent ! I think your character fits the sound file extremely well !
Only minor crit might be that the character is blinking too often (when saying '...the thumb and the molten ...') Other than that, great job !
A question: What is the background voice saying ?

Hi Sheep Factory,
The file got corrupted on the upload but has been sorted now.
Hey Suricate, thanks for the comments.
There are a fair few blinks which I did contemplate taking out,
I based it on the actual actor and the blinks are in sync with his.
In the end I decided to leave them in..

I'd like to see his cheeks have a little more movement (yes, I know he doesn't have much 'cheek' to speak of...). This animation is like a lot of 3d characters where there's a certain unnatural stiffness in the cheeks-- he seems to be missing the ability to squint.
Otherwise, I think this looks really good and expressive. Keep up the good work!

I love it! Great character!
Sufricate, the background voice says, "sort of"

Really good stuff mate. The only thing is when she says sort of have his reaction a bit more surprised, the eyes opening wider or something. But otherwise great stuff.
By the way where did you get the sound file from? I love Spaced and there's so many scenes i'd love to animate to from both series.

Thank you for the comments. Good to have some feedback.
Siriol, I 'extracted' the sound from the DVD.
There are a few soundbites available here though..
I may take a 'bite' from Shaun of the Dead as the next acting piece..;)
