hi everyone, congratulation for this forum is a wonderfull stay here :twisted: sorry but my inglish suck

im do a cotrol motion with step by step motor and i want to know is posibility export the maya camera info, to the project, if mel is posibility to move the camera in maya and the same time move the motors. :twisted: thanks and sorry for my inglish. adios

Yes - this should definitely be possible! Are you building your own motion control rig, then?! How big is it? 'Just' for filming small models, presumably?

You could get MEL (or Maya API) to do this one of 2 ways. You could firstly set-up you virtual cameras in Maya, and export their motion to a data file for use with the control rig (BTW, are you controlling the rig directly from the computer? If so, your software could be built into a Maya node - for direct control!). Your other option is to create the camera motion data elsewhere (eg. MS Excel - ugh!) and import that into Maya, and into your control application (if the two are seperate).

If you like, I could implement one or both of these for you? Let me know what you think. If you could explain your motion-control rig a bit further it'd be very interesting too! :thumbsup:
