Title: Robotic Space Drone
Name: Christoph Hesse
Country: Germany
Software: LightWave 3D

This is a model of a robotic space drone i made for demo reel (still w.i.p.). It's suposed to fly within an asteroid field. If an other ship passes by it activates, follows the ship and sticks to it to travel unnticed.
This picture in particluar is the drone in 'fly mode'.
I tried to make the drone look really old with all the scratches and smoke effects on its hull. But at the same time it should look scarry with its red and brown colors.
What's your impression?

Real nice, I think. It doesn't look "really old" quite yet. Do more scratches and put specularity variation on the maroon parts.

Maybe a colour dark blue and a bit reflective will look more scary.

I love the shape indeed!! your creativity is amazing...

Keep on with that kind of designs, I will glad to see more of your work!

Thanks for your comment. I'll try increasing the amount of scratches and reflectivity.
