I have been trying to export a straignt alpha but can't seem to do it in LW 8? Is it even possible. I even tried fader alpha mode. I am animating a nice smooth curve that is being composited in after effects. The animation need to be clean without premultiplication. Any help in this area would be great. Thanks

Use image filter "SpriteEdger" ... its can eat BG color from the antialiased pixels.
The result is pretty strange , but after composting everything looks OK.

thanks!!! this worked like a charm. I am not complaining but doesn't it seem that this should be an alpha channel option?

In alpha u have 8 bit channel information i. e. u don't have access to "colored" pixels , u can only make them transparent .
Another method is rendering against gray (128 128 128) background
