View Full Version : Game Art Challenge #10. Harpoon Boat

ok here is my idea, a boat that runs adapted to run on land powered by a steam machine. it would be used to transport soldiers and to bring down gates from surviving colonies or whatever seems fit. materials are mostly steel, some wood, in essence its a mix and match material boat with spikes for some gory action. im just wondering if the pilot is absolutely necessary? if so ill post a concept for the pilot soon

yes the pilot is neccesary, it's what makes the challenge more of a, well, CHALLENGE.

Looks good. Totally makes me think of wacky races and would look good with a Dick Dastardly-type pilot.

ok havent done a whole lot more, but im almost done with the harpoon and the vehicle over all, next is the pilot i guess, i worked a quick sketch of how he will look, of course ill have him way more dirty and with oil and stuff like that over his skin. tris are at 2560

well here is another update, not much, vehicle is basicly done, moving on to the pilot now. Tri count is at 3180
