View Full Version : Aligning one object to another?

Does anyone know if there's a plugin for aligning (or centering) one object to another one?

I've worked with the Center function, but it works by moving BOTH of the objects instead of one to the other. I've also tried the Transfer function, and it works as long as the object axis has not been moved...it's based on the axis location and ignores the bounding box of the object.

What I'm looking for is some way to align or center one object to another, based on the bounding box of both objects, ignoring the fact that the object's axis may be offset.

Anything like that out there?

Thanks..

rui's aligner might be what you're looking for.

I think a quick Xpresson expression should do the trick for you.
