View Full Version : Rendering edged faces
Marcel 08-12-2002, 10:01 AM Anybody know how to render edged faces with Max?
(Using two meshes, one with facets and another one with wire doesn't work. The wire mesh will be masked by the faceted mesh.)

You can also put face mapping onto your object and come up with a square map which is one colout in the middle and has a border around the edge int he other colour
apply with map with the face map option ticked and away you go

Thanks Dvornik! That thread was exactly what I needed! The push modifier did the trick.
Samhodge: I think it would work, but it doesn't give very 'clean' results, especially with very long faces...
Thanks guys!
