IMHO there will really be no need. :)

Why not... will the render program be faster then f-prime?

boy do I second this ever :)
How hard would it be for Fprime to be converted to Modo/Nexus?
Besides the need for a full texture editor and lighting system and cameras?

If you had taken a look at the preview in the material editor or at some of the videos from apple expo, you'd know that Modo/ Nexus or whatever already uses an adaptive hybrid renderer just as FPrime is. This is kind of a ridiculous question to ask around here. Know your tools!

i see render on Keynode streaming where Brad show a faster rendering in a few second, since 600 million of poly, i think is enought near to fprime (i'm also lw and fprime user).

So, sice that is mentioned so often, can someone finally tell us, if this was instanced volumetric rendering or true polygons?!

In the apple demonstration video thingy Brad says he uses instances.
Remember that even the radiosity calculations can be instanced (with proper shadowing to other objects as well)
