CGTalk - Error message - help please!

Hi everyone,

I`m having big prob with importing DV files into AE.
Every time I try to import and AE crashes, giving me the message:

>>>After Effects can`t continue: sorry, an abnormal condition has been detected (2).
(0::42)<<<

I`m working with DV Pal files captured with Adobe Premiere.

Does anyone know what`s this problem???

why not contact Adobe they'll have more of an idea about what the error messages mean.

Thanks, I`ve found the cause of my prob - it was @#$$% MGI VideoWave!
It was installing their own codec called DVSoft witch was messing with the MicrosoftDV codec.Unfortunatelly I have to reinstall my Windows but now everything is OK...
