That's pretty awesome texturing!! Two thumbs up... only crit from me is the way the tip of the mountain ends... looks a bit abrupt, a little too.. i don't know squarish? But don't mind me....

textures are awesome, i like the squarish geometry of the terrain, adds a nice feel, only thing i'd say is the sky could use a little more refining or even a little color to add to the atmosphere (no pun) of the composition, great work

this is awesome. :bounce: I love the overall-look and the solution you have used for the grass. The last weeks I have seen many ways of creating grass because I was looking for inspiration for a new project of mine. I think I will now do it like shown in your WIP-images.
The mapping of the mesa is fantastic.

Wonderful work !
Maybe the top of the mountain lacks atmosphere effects like smoke, fog or something. I think it could help to better integrate the mountain to the background.
Or just a little blur...

Yay!!! more MAX work. I love it. And people say that max is rubbish. What do they know.

They know how to get maya to do everything for them at the click of a button.

I love the way uv done this piece. I like the extra tall portrait framing as well. works very well.

Just one thing, did the mountain piece that youve shown WIP for really need so many polies?? I woudnt have thought it would have made a difference in the render with displacement, bump etc.. but hey, u know better than me im sure. Keep it up

I think the sky looks a bit bright compared to the lighting on the land. I love the clouds. Just my opinion.
