View Full Version : jpg sequence into a video file?

i rendered 250 frames using mental ray and i was wondering how i would turn this into a video file using adobe after affects..... if you have any advice or tuts on this please share

Assuming you have your frames correctly named and numbered and in a format After Affects uses, simply create a new composition and import your frames as footage, check the box below footage for sequence.
After you're done with whatever enhancements you wanted After Effects for, export your comp as an image sequence for conversion to NTSC or PAL in a program like Adobe Premire. If you're only interested in getting your existing frames into video you really don't need After Effects just a video editing program.
Again make sure your frames are rendered in a format your video editing programs can use. Something like .jpg, .tif, or .tga are usually best.
