I've just run into a problem when opening a character in Maya6 that was made in Maya5. When i open it in Maya6 the UV's on the character's head are all over the place, but when opened in Maya5 they are fine.
I have tried saving out of Maya5 as an MA file and importing that into Maya6. When the object comes in it has UV's intact but I am unable to transfer UV's to the new model. I've also tried OBJ export with no luck either.
Has anyone else run into this problem before?
I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any.
