although, I'm wondering how many cinema4D users are going to pay the $460 price tag for darktree...
I'm downloading the demo to see if I can get it to work...
Hell no, I have the pure unedited version without any plugins or expensive stuff and its just going to have to stay that way. No really I have absolutely no monies to buy stuff with, maybe if I stop eating and bathing...

But Dynamics totally fails at producing useable dynamics-based animations--other than the most basic collision detection--whereas Darktree totally succeeds at producing amazing procedurals that can be used across Cinema, LW, Max, Maya, trueSpace, and HASH. Dynamics has a nearly unuseable interface, whereas Darktree has one of the best shader-tree interfaces ever devised. So in other words, I think DT is a much better bargain than Dynamics, but then I think Dynamics really sucks.
That's not to say it's for everyone, especially since SLA is a great procedural tool itself, and it's free.

Well one has to be willing to put the time into learning the Dynamics system
and its cloth simulation system is quite usable but i have a Bias towards animation being a TD person at heart:cool:
I dont do much still rendering except for references shots
so i am satified with the Boudinut products
