Okay, I'm in this.

Listening to the sound clip now, working a few things out in my head before I begin thumbnailing.

I'm using Packageman and lowman (both converted to XSI) in this animation.
Here's a rough linear pass at poses and timing. Sorry the idea for the animation isn't all that good, or funny <img>

Hey Tom. Question. How do you get two lowman's in your scene along with the packageman. I've tried but have been unsuccessful in my attempts. Thanks for any info on that.

As for your anim...looks pretty good....I think you could snap up the first part where he throws the hand...give it some anticipation...bring it up slow and whip it down....and the poses could be exaggerated a tad....other than it's a great start man...keep going:)

Sup Ryan :)

Thanks for the crit, duly noted about the throwing hand.

About lowman and Packageman. These are the same models as the scripts which are available for Maya, but I've rigged up (using default XSI rig + facial stuff) in XSI. I export the characters as XSI model files (.emdl) and import them into the scene this way. If you're using XSI I can send you these files, if you like.

If you're using Maya, then this won't be of any help :(

Hi Tom,

your animation already looks very well . I like the interaction with the two zombies a lot. The only part that might need improvement is when he says 'even touches ...', maybe instead of looking down he should immediately start turning his head to the right.

Keep it going !

Hey Christopher, thanks for the feedback. About the head looking down, he's actually looking at his clenched hand in a sort of angry build up of tension and self confident power or something.. I will try to make this more clear in my next WIP :)

Here is an update with better arcs, some follow through animation added, animated eyes and other curves cleaned up and an altered ending.

Cheers :)

Tuna....good progress man. I would work on the side step of the lowman. And maybe give some life to the other one. I like the motion of the main character though...the hand toss is far better and much more readable.....I would just like to see some moving holds implemented now....he comes to complete stops to often....good job man...keep it up:)

Hey Ryan I tried to work on a few things you pointed out. I'm having trouble giving packageman things to *do* for a moving hold. But I added some more motion here and there. I worked on the lowman sidestep some more, gave a reaction to the other lowman etc. I think i'll have to sort out a few collisions between the lowman on the left and packageman, since they intersect a lot more now. Here's the WIP:

Tom....great job man....the only time I get bothered is when lowman taps on his shoulder....for a good full second there's absolutley zero motion....not saying you need to make another pose there...but have packageman sway or something there...it can be real subtle...you're doing great man...keep goin:)

OK, I added a little sway here and there. Miniscule update, really. :)

Thanks for all the C&C Ryan and Chris, you're awesome. I probably won't work on this any more since I gotta move onto other things now hehe. Cheers.
