I really like the look of this. I don't think it would be practical as a portable device, but it looks cool! :) I'm not so sure about have the screen a different colour to the other lights...

Could you render out a turn around video or something? I think it will give people a better idea of how it actually looks, rather than a series of images from different angles.

Play around with the shaders a bit, see what differen't looks you can get.
