Hello,

I have a basic modeling question about bending a portion of a polyobject.

I create a little anim to explain how I do actually, by moving the center of the gizmo.
But it's not really precise because I can't align the center of the gizmo on an edge or (here) a center of a polygon...

So, I would like to ask to the good modelers from cgtalk what they do in this case to obtain what I tell about.

Snap pivot (bend sub-O center) to vertex in top view.

Sorry but I do not understand your explanation well.
Perhaps it is too short, or perhaps that I am too bad :shrug:

When you say : Snap pivot

That mean activate this ? :

Perhaps he means activate the 3d snap to vertex (or face, I suggest), and drag your gizmo till it snaps to the face you want it on.
