Hello everyone,

cebas is pleased to inform you that we have our very first module of F/X tools ready for 3ds max 7 and 3ds max 6.
pyroclusterŪ 3.0 offers many new enhancements and ships with 100% mental ray support. pyrocluster's advanced atomspheric effects can now be rendered in mental ray in the same way like in the 3ds max scaline renderer or finalRender. This is a unique feature no other advanced atmospheric for 3ds max is able to offer and besides the rendering speed and quality it was a major reason for Digital Dimension to choose it for the upcoming blockbuster movie Blade 3.

Visit the link below to learn more about procluster 3.0:

All users of PyroCluster 1.x may upgrade now to pyrocluster 3.0. We do also offer a Cross-Grade that allows any AfterBurn or TurboToolkit user to Cross-Grade to pyrocluster 3.0.

Wow thats great news! i love this plugin and have used it for years extensively - Just in time for an update it was getting a little old and had serious competition - it's layout and useability won me over!!

"pyrocluster is yet the only atmospheric renderer for 3ds max to support receiving and sending Global Illumination. Such advanced Global Illumination features, are only possible when finalRender Stage-1 is used."

I think this is not exactly true, there is also AURA (now in beta), who support all these features a year ago I think. Check the gallery http://www.chaosgroup.com/AURA/

What about 3rd party render compability? It does say that it works with all 3rd party renders, but you only mention Mentalray and fR... Does that mean Brazil and Vray are included but not guaranteed or...?

pyrocluster 3.0 is a standard atmospheric rendering effect fully integrated in 3ds max. So any good and compatible rendering system shoudl render it without any problems.

We did not test BRAZIL, however some of our beta testers did so and we did not get back any negative reports about it.

So it should be good to render even with BRAZIL or any other renderer for 3ds max :)
