The ranger is excellent, but the background is especially stunning. Amazing work on the rocks and sky. A little bit more green on the rocks would've added to the picture but that might also be a feeling.

did you texture this piece with photos/textures using layering?

What a detailed image.
What would be even more awesome, is if you placed a distant pale figured obscured by the mist standing on the bridge behind in the distance. This would create a True Cinematic feel to the image, giving it a story and creating suspense and intrigue for the viewer.

I can't say nothing about the artwork, it's amazing, and flawless by my opinion.
But from concept point of view, isn't the weapon and armor too heavy for a ranger? This is more suited to a warrior/fighter class, don't you think?
