for a first attempt. Could you post the undisplaced mesh for comparison?
for a first attempt. Could you post the undisplaced mesh for comparison?what do you mean about undisplaced mesh ?
How does it look as an OBJ with the division level set to 1. Did you model it only in ZB or did you start in another app and paint in the details?
as i wanted to test the zsphere features,i model this head in z2 only, then exported to max.
i will post subd preview later.
and this is subd levels:

Looks really cool.
It could have really benifited from a lot more polygons in the neck area.
You can always hide everything but the neck area and do an "Edge Loop" to create more polygons down there...
Or smooth the edges within max.
Really like the render other than that, nice character!
thanks meats for your comments
i'll fix it soon.

Can't help but notice that all your images look like an ad for redrival web hosting.

I like where you're going with your character. I think it's a great first test with Zbrush 2.
If you plan on working some more on this character I think a little more definition around the folds of skin for the eyelids would help. The upper lid appears to be a sagging piece of flesh, but I think just some small indications of wrinkles could help greatly.
Kudos on a great first attempt.
