As soon as I try to open this file... maya crashes...

not much information to go on here. i tried reinstalling maya.

but i don't know what's going on .. the file is just under 4 mb. nothing insane. is it some kind of problem anyone else has come across, i can't open two files. other files seem fine.

maybe u should call Maya technical support unless u didn't actually buy it.

why don't you get off anti-learning tip "YOU SUPERHACKER YOU" and get more on the help this person out attitude.. its easy to blow someone off but I think youre better than that....



so kidderD this is all "I got" my question is what kind of file is it.
if you are importing a *.3ds file into maya some times you have to change the string selection in the import window
...other wise Ive had maya auto crash when importing....
