I just got CDIKtools :) and i want to test out doing some animation. I wanted to use a sample dance video clip for the reference animation. I have read about rotoscoping but am not to sure how to go about it. I tried to make the vid clip a material to use as rotoscoping. It renders fine but i was thinking that it was supposed to playback in the viewport also, which it does not.

Does anyone have any techniques that go well with rotoscoping, or similar, and cinema4d?

danb, to play back your "rotoscope clip", use which ever view you want (not perspective of course) and load the clip through the edit>configure menu on the view to load the movie like you normaly load a refrence image,...it will play that way.....
